SAP Signavio reveals new process intelligence & insights features

The latest SAP Signavio Transformation Suite release has introduced new capabilities across SAP Signavio Process Intelligence and SAP Signavio Process Insights.

The November release marks a major leap in how organization access, analyze, and act on process data, according to the announcement. It was revealed at the SAP Transformation Excellence Summit in The Hague.

“This release is all about empowering you to ‘take the fast lane to process transformation,’” stated SAP Signavio product marketing. “Packed with innovative features and updates, this release is tailored to enhance your process excellence and ease your process transformation efforts.”

New SAP Signavio Process Intelligence features

Following the success of beta programs, the AI-Assisted Process Analyzer will soon be generally available in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, wrote Jelisaveta Nikolic, product and topic expert at SAP Signavio.

The capability introduces two powerful features – text to insights and text to widget – that make process exploration truly conversational. Business users can now ask questions in natural language to automatically uncover insights or instantly generate visualizations, simplifying complex analysis and accelerating time to value.

In addition to these artificial intelligence (AI) driven enhancements, the release delivers seamless, large-scale data replication through SAP Datasphere enabling direct, reliable, and continuous extraction of process-relevant data from SAP ERP systems into SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. “This capability ensures rapid and continuous data availability for process mining, backed by a robust change data capture (CDC) engine for up-to-date insights and comprehensive monitoring for full transparency,” Nikolic stated.

Other features include enhanced process mapping and calculated attribute capabilities. From mid-December, users will be able to save valuable time while improving mapping accuracy with an intelligence that understands abbreviations, typos, and multilingual labels. Meanwhile, process analysts will gain a shorter feedback loop and greater flexibility to experiment, refine, and tailor analyses to their organization’s needs by decoupling enrichment from the data pipeline.

New SAP Signavio Process Insights features

The new SAP Signavio Process Insights features include a pop-up view that enables process owners to instantly see which process performance indicators and performance factors have external benchmarks available directly within their analysis view. “This seamless, in-context visibility helps identify promising areas for improvement faster and supports data-driven prioritization for optimization initiatives,” according to Nikolic.

Furthermore, the expanded availability of trendlines allows process owners and transformation leaders to visualize changes for an even broader range of performance indicators, including those related to master data and customizing configuration. This enhancement enhances the ability to spot trends, monitor improvements, and identify where progress may be slowing, offering a more holistic view of ongoing transformation.

Other new features include an enhanced baseline editing feature in Value Analysis that allows users to set or adjust the baseline period up to one year in the past when updating a value case, and the Variant Explorer Widget that offers a new, interactive way to understand process execution (coming mid-December).
