Florida-based Moffitt Cancer Center has been annually ranked on U.S. News & World Report’s "America’s Best Hospitals" list of top cancer centers since 1999. But that’s not to say that there haven’t been some improvements needed along the way. A few years ago the hospital realized that it was facing a potential future shortfall in the number of beds needed to serve a growing number of people requiring in-patient treatment for cancer. In this Process Perspectives podcast, Ashly Mason, Director of Process Excellence at Moffitt, shares how process excellence helped them tackle these challenges and key points of learning along the way.
