Steven Jo is COO for the Transformation Office at Silicon Valley Bank. He says his role is not about cost cutting - the bank has tripled in size since he joined ten years ago - it's about getting more out of a workforce that cannot work any harder in an environment where talent is scarce. Likening change in to open heart surgery (except the patient is awake and moving around).
