It’s a well established principle: before you automate your processes with fancy IT systems you need to make sure that your processes are operating as efficiently and lean as possible. Otherwise, you end up just automating bad process – which makes them even harder to change down the line. But in many companies it seems that process improvement teams and IT teams function separately. Is it time for them to work together more closely?
