Process excellence methodologies are often said to be universally applicable as the thinking, approaches and toolsets can be applied to any industry.
While this is true, it is also the case that different industries are subject to different external constraints such as regulations, market conditions, technical difficulties, etc. This means that how companies approach, implement and perceive the role of process excellence will differ from industry to industry.
This report summarizes the results of our latest biennial State of the Industry survey of respondents from the energy sector in comparison to the "all industry average" (i.e.the compiled survey results for all industries excluding energy respondents).
