Right Data, Right People, Right Time - The Cockpit Approach at Procter & Gamble

Add bookmark
Procter & Gamble has come up with a novel approach to getting the right data to the right people at the right time - modelled on an airplane "cockpit". The global consumer giant looked at how people make decisions on a daily basis - powerpoint slides, e-mails, documents - and created a centralized place where everything can be stored and accessed according to the user's job role.
For the project, the company won an honorable mention for Best Project Contributing to Innovation at Process Excellence Network's European Awards announced earlier this year. Naaem Akram, Systems Manager, EMEA Delivery at the company, explains what they did in more detail and even argues that process is at the heart of innovation.
