I got an MS in AI in 1994 but never applied it much as a programmer. I just took early retirement and began developing a rule based ES for medical records. Has anyone worked with software written specially for scanning, archiving and retrieving medical records? If so how did you incorporate 6Sigma? I've written translators for cad systems and found 6Sigma applicable in error tracking. Has anyone translated paper records with scribble into a searchable database? How did you approach the project? Thanks, Jim Kap engjak@comcast.net
