2013 PEX Network North American Awards Best Start-up Business Process Excellence Program (Under 2 Years)
In January, 2011 the Small Molecules Operational Unit at Roche Pharmaceuticals launched a large-scale performance improvement program called SMOP, which stands for Small Molecules Operations Performance. This program is a key element of their long-term strategic roadmap to help Small Molecules deliver its value proposition for Roche.
The Small Molecules unit built on earlier operational excellence efforts that had delivered real benefits locally, but not yet optimized potential synergies across the network but had a commitment to pursue excellence.
In this downloadable PDF, learn more about the program's guiding principles, examine different project successes, and look at the results achieved by the company's operational excellence program.
