Dealing with Uncertainty and Taming Tigers - Interview with Jim Lawless

Tigers may not be the first thing that springs to mind when you think about leading process improvement programs. But Jim Lawless, founder and CEO of leadership coaching company Taming Tigers, says that the fierce felines have more to to do with leadership than you might think.

In this Process Excellence Network interview, Jim explains that tigers are the internal voice that tells us we will fail when we set out to achieve something different or extraordinary. To lead a large scale process excellence program, he says, we have to convince a lot of people that we have the right idea- but perhaps the most important person that needs convincing is ourselves. In this podcast, Jim also discusses specific strategies to tame those tigers and achieve personal excellence.
