In the last 40 years there has been an introduction, refinement and adoption of three core management frameworks that provide a sound basis for the core planning and execution of processes. In July 2011, a survey was conducted i-nexus and Process Excellence Network in July 2011 to understand the level of adoption of management frameworks and methodologies, Operational Excellence priorities over the next two years and the tools used to facilitate the different stages of the Business Execution process.
In this whitepaper, which presents the key findings from that survey, find out :
- Percentage breakdown of management framework implementations including usage of Lean Six Sigma, Hoshin Planning, Balanced Scorecard, and/or Business Excellence Frameworks (e.g. EFQM or Baldridge)
- Which software tools companies are using for managing operational excellence programs including measuring financial impact, cascading of business goals and priorities, and driving implementation of strategic initiatives
- A breakdown by geography of the key Operational Excellence priorities that companies have set for their programmes the next two years
The results presented within this survey are based on the answers of over 700 operational excellence professionals working in a variety of job roles and geographies.
