Process Excellence at Cable and Wireless

Add bookmark

Slower growth and increasing competition means that there is increasing pressure on profit margins so improving process efficiency to drive growth has become a critical role of process improvement in the industry. That was the view of Mark Zirbser, Head of Process Excellence at telecommunications company Cable & Wireless, when PEX Network spoke to him earlier this year.

In this Process Perspectives podcast, based on a video interview we recorded LIVE at PEX Week Europe, Zirbser describes the role of process excellence at Cable & Wireless, reveals how Cable & Wireless' process excellence unit - called Business Enablement and Technology - brings together "change agents" from IT and Lean Six Sigma in order to garner the best that each discipline has to offer, and discusses how Process Excellence is as much about innovation as improving operational performance.
