I have seen in some(most??) of the cases that Six Sigma and Lean six sigma are used. In a Training communication on Six sigma Black Belt, one of the training organisation has used Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Programme and then describing about the programme as it is as per BOK of ASQ CSSB. ASQ CSSB is Six sigma Black belt and nothing to do with Lean.
Can all experts give more clarity on what is the actual differentiator between a Six Sigma and a Lean six sigma (other than the fact that in the lean focus is to become lean, proudctivity improvement, usage of VA/NAV, Value stream mapping etc)and is there any certification from ASQ on Lean Six Sigma? to my knowledge, it is not there...
