Gregory L. Schlegel CPIM, CSP, Jonah Greg has over 25 years experience with several Fortune 100 companies across multiple industries such as specialty steel, consumer packaged goods, discrete manufacturing, process chemicals and aerospace & defense electronics. He has held executive positions in the systems, staff and plant operations environments and has been Supply Chain Director, Materials Director, Logistics Manager, Plant Operations Manager, CIO and Systems Director with companies such as Hercules Chemical, Sandvik Specialty Steel, International Harvester, Schlumberger, Loral Aerospace & Defense Electronics, GAF/ISP Specialty Chemicals and spent seven years as IBM Supply Chain Solutions and Alliance Executive. Greg has also been an Executive Consultant for IBF, The Institute for Business Forecasting and is presently VP Business Development for SherTrack LLC, an “SES”, Software-enabled-Services organization providing process manufacturers with Demand-Driven Predictive Manufacturing solutions to maximize their bottom line.
Greg is certified in APICS (CPIM), a Certified Systems Professional (CSP) and a Theory
of Constraints Jonah. Greg has recently been recertified in Production & Inventory Management with APICS under their new Lifelong Learning Program and has been trained in Lean and Six Sigma through IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC. He is a graduate of Penn State, holding a B.S. in Operations Research and Computer Science, has attended Lake Forest College of Graduate Studies and is pursuing APICS’ new CSCP, Certified Supply Chain Professional program.
Lean Six Sigma and large-scale change initiatives. He has twenty years of strategy, change management, and process improvement consulting experience as well as fifteen years of corporate experience in sales and marketing, operations, and quality management.
Richard is the co-author, with Jerry Blakeslee, of the book “Strategic Six Sigma: Best Practices from the Executive Suite,” (Wiley, 2003) which features best practices of companies that have successfully deployed Six Sigma as a transformation initiative. Most recently, he co-authored an article for Supply Chain Management Review, “Integration of Six Sigma with On-Demand Technology.” Additionally, he has published several articles on change management, process reengineering and Six Sigma.
Rick is a Senior Manager with General Manager Experience with proven leadership of an organization through major changes and record setting accomplishments, successful startup of over $100 million in capital projects. He has significant cross-over experience in commercial areas, procurement, administration and strategic evaluation and has demonstrated a proven track record of trouble shooting in diverse situations and geographical settings, including a foreign assignment to Germany. He has demonstrated global coordination and responsibilities and excels at leading in new environments, with significantly different challenges, including geographies and cultures.
