Natashia is the National Director of Shared Services for Empire, Sobeys Inc. This role includes the development of a Continuous Improvement program and operational oversight of Business Services. Sobeys kicked off a 5 year transformation with specific Shared Services objectives that were deemed only achievable and sustainable by implementing the underpinning disciplines of a continuous improvement program.
Prior to joining Sobeys two years ago, Natashia 14 years in progressive Continuous Improvement and transformation roles in both Retail and in the Canadian Fintech sector.
At maple Maple Leaf Foods, Natashia was engaged in Marketing Innovation Strategy, Food Safety transformation, Finance SAP optimization and the creation of a Process Management Framework. Natashia then moved to Sears for two years co-leading teams through E-commerce apparel on line efficiencies and National Supply Chain optimization in an effort to drive massive acceleration in efficiencies across all platforms.
Having cut her teeth in large cap companies, Natashia transferred her skillset to the emerging Canadian Fintech sector, as Vice President of Technology, Projects and Compliance for one of the fastest growing lending platforms in the space.Natashia led the development and implementation of multiple governance initiatives that allowed the company to acquire several companies over two years ensuring each respective target return was achieved across complex platforms. Natashia worked closely with the Board of Directors and CEO to create transformative execution strategies that would then be the basis for concluding and executing acquisitions.
Throughout all of Natashia experiences are key pillars of managing change and establishing cultures of change in order to generate momentum and multi-level sponsorship and support and measurement of changes toward achievement of corporate objectives.
Away from business Natashia is passionate about fitness, travelling, friends and family, food and wine, photography and interior design.
