Vince Pierce is a global business transformation and operations leader with over 20 years of experience driving high performance in Fortune 500 companies. He is currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Business Transformation at Office Depot and on the board of advisors for Kids in Distress (Palm Beach) and the Process Excellence Network, a division of IPQC. He provides senior leadership at Office Depot for:
- Large-scale transformation programs in Retail, Merchandising, and Global Supply Chain
- Process Excellence (Lean and Six Sigma)
- Finance Shared Service Operations
- Enterprise Program Management Office (PMO)
Vince has rotated between line management and staff leadership roles throughout his career. Prior to joining Office Depot, he was a Partner in Accenture’s global business process outsourcing division holding various leadership positions in outsourcing delivery and operational excellence. Vince also served in production management and engineering roles in both Rodel (now Rohm and Hass) and United Parcel Service.
Vince has undergraduate degrees in Organizational Management and Industrial Engineering. He is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, and is certified in Applied Statistics.
Don Mears leads Change Management for Office Depot’s Business Process Improvement (BPI) group. He is a business performance, change management and human performance professional with international experience in transformational change management, corporate strategic communications, organizational development, instructional systems design/delivery, and process improvement. He has led change management for business initiatives delivering more than $100 million in financial benefits ($60 million in revenue generation, $30 million in cost avoidance) in organizations ranging in size from Fortune 100 to family owned, in both for-profit and non-profit sectors. He is valued for his practical approach, strong integrative and conceptualizing abilities, and outstanding communication and influencing skills. Don is a Certified Performance Technologist, Meyers-Briggs qualified, Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a BA from Ambassador College, UK.
