Microsoft, Celonis and Uniper have united to drive digital transformation in the energy sector.
Using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate, European energy company Uniper will scale the use of artificial intelligence (AI) bolstered with Celonis process intelligence across the company.
Through the collaboration, Uniper will gain a new level of transparency into its business processes and the ability for AI-driven automation and end-to-end process orchestration, according to the announcement.

Celonis is providing its system agnostic process intelligence platform, which delivers a process-centric data foundation to develop agents, while Microsoft is bringing its powerful AI technology along with the ability to rapidly scale AI deployment with its broad productivity suite.

AI relies on business data, context and intelligence
AI is only as effective as the data and context it feeds on, said Bastian Nominacher, co-founder and co-CEO of Celonis. “Celonis provides the process data and business context that gives AI the understanding it needs to drive meaningful business transformation and real value. Uniper began using Celonis five years ago to drive operational excellence (OPEX) across its global energy business. Since then, Uniper has successfully implemented Celonis across 27 processes, connecting eight source systems and supporting more than 350 active users.
