Infosys and Telstra announced a joint venture to boost artificial intelligence (AI) powered digital transformation in Australia. The collaboration aims to propel AI-enabled cloud and digital solutions for Australian businesses as they navigate their AI journeys.
Infosys will acquire 75 percent of the shareholding in Versent Group, Australia’s leading digital transformation solutions provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra Group, that delivers cloud and digital transformation.
Infosys will have operational control, while Telstra will continue to retain a 25 percent minority stake in Versent Group. The transaction is expected to close during the second half of FY 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Together, they aim to deliver differentiated value and accelerate comprehensive digital transformation for Australian enterprises and government organizations.
This joint venture is another key step in strengthening the strategic collaboration between Infosys and Telstra to further the technology transformation agenda for enterprises across the region.
