MAIN CONFERENCE DAY 2 - 30th October

8:00 am - 8:45 am REGISTRATION & NETWORKING

8:45 am - 9:00 am OPENING REMARKS

9:00 am - 9:30 am AUDIENCE PANEL: Are Internal Politics Killing Business Transformation?

Transformation is often positioned as a strategic driver of business growth, but with transformation leaders working not only with those at the top, but also aligning various business leaders, functional leaders and middle management, too often it gets caught in leadership politics. Competing agendas, fear of admitting when things are "in the red," and a reluctance to challenge behaviours can cause transformation failures in themselves. Some of the most successful leaders are those that can embrace the ‘red’ and so that leads us to the question of are internal politics truly killing business transformation success?

This isn’t your usual panel. It’s interactive, audience-led, and designed to challenge perspectives. One of our speakers will set the scene before we ask every attendee to vote live from strongly agree to strongly disagree. We’ll show the spread of answers, then open up the debate. Expect to be called on to defend your position, challenge others, or even change your mind as new perspectives are shared.

9:30 am - 10:00 am AUDIENCE PANEL: Top-Down Decisions are Dead – Is This What Will Drive Us into the Wall?

Employee empowerment is key to transformation in this age of constant change – this is how teams feel ownership and can align with transformation goals. However, top-down decisions still offer structure, alignment, and control at an enterprise level. So where’s the line? How do we empower with some level of control and consistency and are top-down decisions dead – Is this what will drive us into the wall?

10:00 am - 10:30 am PRESENTATION: Fighting Bias: From Gender Equality to AI

As technology rapidly transforms our world, women remain underrepresented in shaping its future, especially in AI. This talk explores how the tech industry's evolution intersects with gender, examining both the transformative role of women in tech and the biases embedded in AI systems. We'll dive into the challenges, the opportunities, and the critical need for inclusive innovation to ensure AI works for everyone, not just a few. Biased data can affect outcomes in many fields, this is why this session will reinforce the importance of gender diversity in the Tech industry, with the goal of building more inclusive and ethical AI. Ideal for anyone interested in the intersection of technology, equity, and innovation.

10:30 am - 11:00 am PRESENTATION: Step Outside of Our Comfort Zone – Transforming Through Failures

In transformation, we don’t always get it right. The statistic gets brought up often, that 80% of transformations are unsuccessful– whether this number is correct or not I think most leaders can testify to the fact that there are often times that we will feel like our decisions have led to some kind of failure. Join this session to:

-            Learn how to be more open about discussing failures with other business leaders

-            Explore how to foster an innovation culture, by allowing for failures within transformation for all stakeholders

-            Understand failure communication to senior leaders, to frame failures as learning experiences internally

-            Hear some failure case studies from Mike, and how he overcame these to enable successful transformation

11:00 am - 11:40 am MORNING NETWORKING BREAK

Internal Efficiency-Driven Transformation

11:40 am - 12:10 pm PANEL: Driving ESG into Transformation Agendas

ESG is no longer a side project but is fast becoming a core pillar of business transformation. But with political pushback, employee fear, and pressure to prove ROI, driving ESG at scale is not easy. While some companies are building out action plans, others are still figuring out what ESG means in practice, and crucially who takes ownership. This session will look at how transformation leaders can make ESG a measurable, strategic initiative. Join the panel to answer the following questions:

-            How do we shift ESG from a siloed initiative to an ESG ecosystem that is embedded throughout the transformation landscape?

-            What does it take to institutionalise ESG with those resistant to change?

-            Can sustainability align with cost-efficiency and how do we prove the ROI?

-            How can we use ESG as a transformation priority beyond compliance and reporting?

12:10 pm - 12:40 pm PANEL: How to Leverage Leadership and Stakeholders in Effective Transformation

It is no secret that transformation is driven by leadership, not just process, and/or technology. But with leadership skills, there is no one-size-fits-all solution to how to lead your team and transformation initiatives. In this session, we’ll delve into the experiences of transformation executives from leading enterprises to understand how they set clear goals and create a unified vision for transformation. Effective leadership requires a strong vision, especially when balancing external pressures and internal expectations. It is not just about speaking but being heard. It is not about being heard, it is being understood, it is not about being understood, but the execution of your vision. Join this session to understand:

-            How leaders can empower teams and stakeholders to drive transformation at all levels, that align with business goals

-            What could the ripple effect be of negative leadership, and how can we catch this happening?

-            How do we ensure our leadership and culture can be translated across different regional stakeholders?

-            What are some innovative ways of going beyond just leadership communication from the top?

12:40 pm - 1:00 pm PRESENTATION: Service Mapping Before Process Mapping

-            What should each team be doing for the end product

-            How can we integrate value mapping into this model

-            How can we lead effective workshops internally to support this

-            What have been the results and benefits of service mapping

-            How can we scale service mapping to other business units

Customer-Led Transformation

11:40 am - 12:10 pm PRESENTATION: Customer Centricity and Hyper-personalisation in B2B

Transformation can often work in favour of the customer to drive growth, but in recent years the needs of the customer have been increasingly considered as driving transformation initiatives. The need for personalised experiences has been a no-brainer for B2C companies, but now the B2B experience is doing the same, not only in the face-to-face world but digitally too.

Join this session to hear:

How we define hyper-personalisation, and the impact this has on transformation priorities in 2025

What role transformation plays in enabling a digital platform to enable customer personalisation

How to measure impact of customer-driven personalisation with the correct data metrics

How to bring your leadership with you when the customer journey doesn’t match the usual KPI-driven business case

12:10 pm - 12:40 pm PRESENTATION: Process Mining for Customer-Centric Transformation

For transformation leaders, the challenge isn’t just about improving customer experience but ensuring that this is aligned with driving business efficiency. Process mining empowers leaders to go beyond usual metrics, to discover inefficiencies and hurdles that are otherwise hard to identify. In this session, we will look at how process mining can help to analyse business processes and align internal workflows with customer needs without sacrificing operational efficiency.

-            How can process mining be a tool in supporting a customer-first mindset, as well as the typical process optimisation tool?

-            How can we ensure the use is enterprise-wide across all departments to maximum benefit?

  • What use cases have been successful, but also have not gained as much benefit as expected?

12:40 pm - 1:00 pm PRESENTATION: Transforming Business Mindset and Culture in Customer-Led Transformation

Customer-led transformation isn’t just about adapting to change, it’s about reshaping the way we lead. As transformation leaders, we must create a culture that integrates customer-first thinking into everything we do, while balancing the focus on internal efficiency. This session will explore how we can drive that cultural shift, using data to identify areas of opportunity, and how to ensure our culture is adaptable enough to support both customer-driven and internal efficiency-focused transformation efforts. This session will cover:

-            Shaping a transformation culture that embraces customer-first thinking across all levels of the business

-            Practical strategies for using data and customer feedback to guide innovation and transformation

-            Navigating the balance between customer-led transformation and internal efficiency goals and how to ensure your culture supports both, or when to focus on one over the other

  • Creating a culture of agility and customer-centricity that thrives even in uncertain markets
