Empowering enterprises to transform their digital core through impact-driven product engineering, AI-native systems, and human-centered user experience.
As a CTO at Trinetix, Sam Ferrise elevates technology leadership beyond traditional delivery, helping clients industrialize innovation and drive long-term enterprise value. Sam’s expertise is in orchestrating large-scale digital transformations that modernize legacy environments and integrate AI-native solutions at scale. Under his strategic direction, Trinetix’s global engineering teams have delivered impactful initiatives, including:
- Enterprise AI: Orchestrated the implementation of AI-driven knowledge ecosystems for Fortune 100 firms, capturing retiring expertise and reducing information retrieval from hours to seconds.
- Digital Transformation in Environmental Services: Reimagined a waste management provider’s service delivery model by introducing e-commerce capabilities, driving a 25% revenue increase.
- Healthcare: Transformed patient experience for a multi-billion-dollar renal care organization by delivering a mobile experience to manage treatment schedules and adherence.
Prior to Trinetix, Sam co-founded Emergest, a firm dedicated to providing globalization services for technology delivery across industries.
Sam spent over a decade at Deloitte, leading the Mobile Center of Excellence and overseeing technology delivery for the Advisory business. He also served on the firm’s Technology Practice Board, drove the delivery of enterprise-grade systems and large-scale digital products.
Sam has contributed to InformationWeek and CIO.com and has spoken at the Nashville Innovation Summit and other local industry events. He chairs an executive peer group for Nashville-based CIOs and CTOs and leads high-level discourse on innovation as a member of TennesseeCIO and the Greater Nashville Technology Council. He is an advocate for "intentional innovation", ensuring that technology is a value-driver rather than a novelty.
Outside of his work, Sam enjoys hosting friends and family over smoked meats, a nice bourbon, and spending time boating on the lake.
Enterprise AI is currently addicted to "expensive guesswork," yielding a 5.9% ROI. The idea of AI Adoption is broken, not for lack of ambition, but because leaders are trapped in a loop of flashy experiments without real outcomes. This session moves beyond the "AI magic" to introduce a 6-dimensional diagnostic framework designed to validate truth before you commit your budget.
• The systemic causes behind the 95% failure rate of enterprise AI pilots, from unclear ROI to misaligned use cases.
• Case studies from Fortune 100 companies: Discover how leading enterprises are shifting from chaotic POCs to outcome-driven AI adoption.
• AI labs: a diagnostic framework to assess AI readiness.
• Translating experimentation to execution: Building an outcome-based AI pipeline.
