For decades, "transformation" has been managed with stable roadmaps, consulting frameworks, and language that assume the world changes slowly. AI has blown that world apart. The methods, tools, and even roles many enterprises still rely on are now actively holding them back. In this session, Meta's AI Transformation Leader Jaime, takes a deliberately disruptive stance: much of the traditional transformation toolkit is now obsolete. She will unpack how Meta approached real operational AI transformation, including the radical decision to shut down Facebook (8,000 people) for a full week to focus on AI education, experimentation, and workflow redesign. Rather than theory, this talk will focus on tangible, transferable lessons:
• Key lessons learned from Facebook's AI transformation week: what actually changed in people's day to day work – and what didn't
• How to design for the "aha moment" when AI stops being a chat toy and starts returning capacity at scale
• What legacy enterprises must unlearn about change, governance, and org design to keep up with a world where AI capabilities and best practices shift every 3–6 months
