4:45 PM ACTIVATING HUMAN-CENTRIC TRANSFORMATION FOR AN AGENTIC AGE

For the first time in 2026, Business Transformation World Summit has launched the Agentic Transformation Summit, creating a shared platform for change leaders and AI and Data leaders. Why? Because these two groups need each other. Whilst true transformation and AI integration are now arguably inseparable, it is also true that AI needs human-centric leaders who can smooth the path for disruptive change.

Recognising the ultimate goal of all transformations, this session looks at how to leverage the enormous potential of AI to measurably enhance human outcomes. It examines the opportunity to build a robust, human-centric transformation culture for an agentic age, and delves deep into the role that AI can play in democratizing the change mandate. It also, just as importantly, looks at how to reconcile the pace of change with a responsible approach to technology adoption.

• How can AI and Transformation leaders work together to smooth the path for genuine enterprise reinvention?

• Can machines become increasingly human-centric, and how might that outcome create greater value for the business?

• If AI can enable more rapid and data-driven decision-making, how can that translate into a decentralised, flatter business structure which can achieve better outcomes, more quickly? Can that approach also support an enterprise-wide culture of transformation, where ownership over the change mandate spreads beyond the core change team?

• Will the widescale adoption of AI move the human workforce from sitting at the core of process execution to the edge, whilst AI executes the process? How does that shift, should it occur, enable us to enhance value and outcomes for our people?

• If the future enterprise is more customer-centric, will it also be more employee-centric?

• AI and the ownership problem: how can transformation keep human outcomes and problem-solving front of mind when ownership of the AI mandate is so contested across enterprise?

• Can we build new product and revenue streams around irreplaceably human IP?

11:30 AM NO AI FOR AI'S SAKE: KEEPING THE PROBLEM FRONT OF MIND

CTROs are just one of the C-suite leaders influencing the adoption of AI and other advanced technology within their organisations. Unlike some of their colleagues, though, CTROs retain a critical focus on using technology to solve problems, not implementing that technology in response to hype or to keep up with their competitors. This discussion focuses on resisting the pressure of change for change's sake, and influencing a sustainable approach to technology acquisition that retains a strong focus on making tangible gains against real business problems.

• How do we resist the hype and keep the problem to be solved front of mind when fielding recommendations for AI implementation?

• How do we balance the board's need to demonstrate forward-looking AI adoption with our mandate for delivering real ROI from every change we implement?

• Where can we find ways to demonstrate the value of core transformation principles to remind internal stakeholders of a more holistic approach to transformation?
