Qatar Airways is embarking on group-wide artificial intelligence (AI) transformation in partnership with Accenture. The collaboration aims to revolutionize the aviation industry through AI technologies, elevating customer experience, optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing overall airline group performance.
As part of this partnership, Qatar Airways and Accenture have established “AI Skyways” to further position the multi award-winning airline as a leader in aviation AI and advance technology in the region and beyond.
A foundation for group-wide AI transformation
AI Skyways will serve as the foundation for delivering value-driven AI initiatives across the Qatar Airways Group, according to a press release. Through its commitment to responsible AI practices, robust data and platform capabilities and a dedicated value realization office, it will quantify and maximize the impact of AI across the organization.
These efforts will fast-track the adoption of AI solutions in key aviation areas, such as optimizing flight schedules, improving predictive maintenance and personalizing customer experiences, enabling Qatar Airways, named World’s Best Airline by Skytrax in 2025, to continue providing world-class travel experiences.
Additionally, AI Skyways will position the airline to explore emerging AI trends and innovations, ensuring long-term growth, adaptability and resilience in an evolving global market.
The initiative plays a pivotal role in enabling Qatar Airways’ continuous journey to become a digital-first organization, leveraging AI and other advanced technologies to optimize processes and decision-making capabilities.

A significant milestone in AI-driven aviation
