How to Sustain and Grow a Lean Culture
|
Sustaining a culture of Lean or continuous improvement can be difficult after the enthusiasm of the transformation fades. The real gains to be had from Lean process improvement come from ensuring that it becomes everybody's job to find opportunities for improvement rather than the domain of a specialised few. So how do can you make it easier for your company's management and staff to understand and absorb the messages and make it really "stick"?
In this webinar, Nigel Barnes, Knowledge Development Manager at Euroclear - a European organisation that provides cross border settlement and clearing services - shares their change management and continuous improvement experience on making sustained changes become "business as usual".
- Get practical ideas on making continuous improvement information as accessible as possible
- Hear how to encourage "guiding by principles" to create real ownership of continuous improvement
- Understand the importance of linking continuous improvement with other initiatives, and
- Learn how to monitor maturity and how it can provide a stimulus for further change

Great presentation, thanks. Clear, relatively simple and well paced. Some great tips for sustaining and developing lean / CI culture. All too often "initiatives start to "fail"/lose momentum once deployed, and "Business as Usual" tends to "drop the baton" unless there is a dedicated strategy to keep it relevant and demonstrating value.

This sounds great, however I'm on Sydney time which will be midnight - will a recording of the webinar be available after the event?

This one of the few sites where I have encountered such a webinar or course and considered this subject important. It is one thing to implement LEAN improvements yet another thing to sustain the culture within the organization. Why bother with the implementation and reap the initial successes if future successes are ignored Looking forward to the webinar.
