Celonis partners with ClearOps to power the future of intelligent supply chains

Michael Hill | 09/25/2025

Process intelligence leader Celonis is partnering with ClearOps to boost the future of intelligent supply chains. The collaboration aims to empower original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their dealer networks with proactive, data-driven decision-making.

It will ensure that machinery and equipment run longer, perform better and deliver greater lifetime value to end customers, according to the announcement.

Garter predicts that, by 20230, one in 20 supply chain managers will manage robots, rather than humans.

Disconnected systems and incomplete data hamper OEMs

For years, OEMs and dealers have been held back by disconnected systems and incomplete information, stated a press release. Parts demand is often misjudged in spreadsheets, orders disappear across disconnected systems and service histories are buried in outdated, manual records.

Meanwhile, vital customer and asset data remain trapped in isolated silos. The impact is costly: machines sit idle for days waiting on parts, service teams react only after breakdowns and both OEMs and dealers lose revenue, while customers bear the brunt of expensive downtime. Manual processes waste time, critical data gets lost and without a unified, global view of machine and customer activity, true optimization is impossible.

“Our partnership with Celonis marks a new era for aftersales,” said William Barkawi, founder and CEO at ClearOps. “We are turning fragmented ecosystems into a living, breathing intelligence layer that not only empowers OEMs and dealers to maximize uptime and revenue, but also redefines how the entire service supply chain operates. This is about building a future where machines never stand still, customers are always served proactively and data fuels continuous improvement across the globe.”

Powering intelligent supply chains

The ClearOps platform unifies OEM systems, dealer ERPs and machines in the field on one platform, turning fragmented information into actionable insights. By leveraging ClearOps’ unified dealer and ecosystem data, Celonis drives process excellence at OEMs, according to a press release.

By analyzing how parts, services, assets and customer interactions flow across the network, OEMs can pinpoint bottlenecks, eliminate inefficiencies and align operations around measurable outcomes. This can help them transform aftersales into a proactive growth engine where uptime is maximized, customer value is unlocked and performance improves continuously across the global service supply chain.

Benefits for OEMs and dealers include:

  • Higher parts sales and improved availability.
  • Expanded service revenue through process optimization.
  • Minimized machine downtime in the field.
  • Full transparency across global networks.

“The partnership with ClearOps provides the foundation for integrating service and machine data into our Process Intelligence Platform, eliminating a significant aftersales supply chain blind spot,” said Peter Budweiser, general manager supply chain at Celonis. “The result is a supply chain that is perfectly synchronized with the real needs of customers and machines in the field.”
