FlowForma launches FlowAssure to boost vendor oversight with AI agents

Michael Hill | 11/25/2025

Process automation firm FlowForma announced the launch of FlowAssure, a new solution designed to modernize and streamline vendor risk management with artificial intelligence (AI) agents.

FlowAssure uses intelligent AI agents to automate vendor assessments, interpret cybersecurity questionnaires, and evaluate pen tests, ISO certifications, and SOC 2 Type II reports, enabling organizations to make quicker, smarter, and fully auditable decisions, according to a press release.

The solution is designed to tackle the common challenges of manual vendor reviews, slow approval cycles, and error-prone spreadsheets. By automating end-to-end vendor oversight, it enables security, compliance, and procurement teams to save time, minimize risk, and enhance governance across the enterprise.

With FlowAssure, vendor risk management that once took weeks can now be completed in minutes, while maintaining full control and oversight, FlowForma stated.

“Vendor risk management has traditionally been slow, manual, and prone to error. FlowAssure changes that,” said John Murphy, CEO of FlowForma. “By combining AI with structured workflows, we give security and compliance teams the power to make smarter, faster, and fully auditable decisions. Organizations can reduce manual effort by up to 90 percent and get approvals five-times faster, while maintaining complete visibility and control.”

AI agents are “essential” for process automation & enhanced decision-making

Businesses view AI agents as essential tools in process automation and enhanced decision-making. That’s according to a recent study by technology giant and process mining provider IBM.

Enterprises are expected to significantly scale AI-enabled workflows – many driven by agentic AI – relying on them for process efficiency and cost reduction.

The AI Projects to Profits study, which surveyed 2,900 executives globally, revealed that respondents expect AI-enabled workflows to grow from 3 percent today to 25 percent by the end of 2025. With 70 percent of surveyed executives indicating that agentic AI is important to their organization's future, the research suggests that many organizations are actively encouraging experimentation.
