Michael Hill | 08/20/2025

Celonis has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorization to optimize US Federal Government processes.

Working with partner Knox, the global process mining leader is now capable of meeting the strictest standards when handling the US government’s most sensitive, unclassified data in a secure cloud computing environment.

In January, Celonis announced a strategic partnership with the UK Cabinet Office to improve the efficiency of its internal processes, including talent acquisition.

As part of the project, the Cabinet Office is collaborating with Celonis to support the Shared Services for Government in streamlining and replacing around 280 siloed departmental-based legacy IT systems, enabling the team to identify roadblocks or out-of-date processes as well as highlight how cross-departmental processes can be optimized

Government agencies strive to deliver exceptional services to the public efficiently, in accordance with policy and without unnecessary delays or obstacles. Celonis aims to support this mission by helping agencies streamline operations and eliminate hidden inefficiencies, according to a press release. With process intelligence, agencies don’t just fix issues as they arise; they proactively prevent them, ensuring more reliable, responsive public service, it added.

“Public sector leaders are under tremendous pressure to do more with less, while citizen expectations continue to rise,” said Aubrey Vaughan, VP of strategy for public sector at Celonis. “Celonis Process Intelligence is trusted by local, state and federal agencies across the US to deliver better public services. Achieving FedRAMP authorization means more agencies have access to our software that’s already unlocked of billions in value across the public sector.
