Michael Hill | 07/02/2025

Process software vendor Appian announced the expansion of its sales leadership team by appointing three seasoned leaders to bolster its presence and drive growth across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Vicky Nisbet joins as SVP of sales in the UK and EMEA, Vincent Perrin takes on the role of VP of EMEA North and Rob Cook becomes area VP of EMEA North for broad markets and public sector.

These strategic hires support Appian’s commitment to expanding its market leadership and delivering exceptional value to customers in the region, according to the announcement. In May, Appian published its first quarter 2025 financial results with cloud subscriptions revenue increasing 15 percent year-over-year.

Leadership changes aim to grow Appian’s AI and process orchestration offerings

“We welcome Vicky, Vincent and Rob to the Appian sales team,” said Mark Dorsey, chief revenue officer at Appian. “Their decades of experience in driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams aligns perfectly with our vision. Together we will innovate and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) and process orchestration to help organizations achieve their most important goals.”

  • Nisbet brings a track record of success from over two decades in enterprise sales leadership with SAP and Oracle. Most recently, Vicky served as SVP at Salesforce.
  • Perrin has nearly 12 years of experience at Salesforce, where he most recently held the position of area VP.
  • Cook joins from Salesloft, where he was VP of enterprise sales EMEA and UK country leader.

Cloud subscriptions revenue was $99.8 million, up 15 percent compared to the first quarter of 2024. Total subscriptions revenue, which includes sales of cloud subscriptions, on-premises term license subscriptions and maintenance and support, increased 14 percent year-over-year to $134.4 million.
