For years, Lean Six Sigma was mostly associated with the manufacturing level of production. But as organizations become more familiar and comfortable with Lean Six Sigma, many are now applying it to non-manufacturing processes. Christopher Cool, Vice President of Sector Quality Systems and Safety for Northrop Grumman Corporation Integrated Systems, has paved the way for his organization to follow suite. In this Profit through Process podcast, Genna Weiss of Six Sigma IQ talks with Cool, a speaker at IQPC’s January 2009 Lean Six Sigma and Process Improvement Summit, about best practices for implementing Lean Six Sigma throughout an end-to-end value stream and maintaining a culture focused on continuous quality improvement.
