A Call to Go Lean in Defense Manufacturing

On August 26, 2010, Six Sigma & Process Excellence IQ's sister portal, Institute for Defense and Government Advancement (IDGA), had author JP Lambiase write on how the "defense industry can better support the military by implementing lean manufacturing to improve on fit, function, safety and quality." In one example, Lambiase points to the Lean component, the bus bar, as having the ability to "reduce the risk of incorrect or improper wiring."
