Tungsten Automation earns FedRAMP “In-Process” designation

Michael Hill | 11/19/2025

Intelligent document and workflow automation vendor Tungsten Automation has attained the FedRAMP® “In-Process” designation at the High Impact Level under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).

This applies to the Tungsten TotalAgility® Cloud Platform, a leading platform in intelligent automation, intelligent document processing (IDP), and process orchestration.

FedRAMP “In-Process” status means a cloud service offering (CSO) is undergoing the required third-party security assessment and authorization process to host federal data. It signifies that the service has a federal sponsor, is actively completing security controls and documentation, and is committed to achieving full FedRAMP authorization, but has not yet been fully authorized.

The FedRAMP “In-Process” status demonstrates Tungsten Automation’s commitment to meeting the stringent cloud security standards established by the US federal government, according to the announcement.

In August, Celonis received FedRAMP authorization to optimize US federal government processes.

Helping federal agencies and contractors automate manual processes

With FedRAMP “In-Process” designation, Tungsten is positioned to help federal agencies and contractors automate manual processes, deliver low-code/no-code applications, and scale improvements across both internal and citizen-facing operations, stated a press release.

“Tungsten’s FedRAMP “In-Process” designation represents a major milestone for our company and underscores our dedication to enabling government agencies to carry out their missions more efficiently and securely,” said Peter Hantman, CEO of Tungsten Automation. “Our solutions are designed to meet the complex needs of government entities, and this recognition strengthens our ability to align with the new administration’s mandates of efficiency and transparency.”

FedRAMP’s standardized controls will enable Tungsten solutions to securely interconnect with other FedRAMP-authorized systems, supporting integration and collaboration across government environments. Tungsten said it is also committed to supporting StateRAMP initiatives, further broadening its impact across federal, state, and local government operations.

“Carahsoft works closely with our vendor partners and reseller network to help government agencies access innovative solutions while meeting federal compliance requirements,” said Ryan Balogh, program manager for FedRAMP initiatives at Carahsoft. “Tungsten Automation’s TotalAgility Cloud Platform achieving the FedRAMP ‘In-Process’ designation at the High Impact Level strengthens our ability to help agencies modernize workflows, enhance security, and improve citizen services.”

FedRAMP High Authority to Operate (ATO) for the Tungsten TotalAgility Cloud Platform is targeted for Q1 2026.
