Sondra Etchison is Manager of Enterprise Process
Improvement in the Information Services division of BlueCross BlueShield of
Tennessee, which has more than 6,000 employees and serves more than 3.5 million
members in the state and across the country.
In this role, she
is responsible for leading enterprise-wide efforts to ensure continuous process
improvement, overseeing Lean Six Sigma programs and the Automation Center of
Excellence at BlueCross. She ensures these initiatives are focused and aligned
to improve operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness. She also
provides leadership and coordination to improve the organization’s core work
systems and processes while evaluating the impacts of those improvements.
Etchison is a
Lean Six Sigma & Pega Blackbelt trained in 8 Step Problem Solving, Lean
Methodology and ASQ Certified in Lean Kaizen.
She is also well versed in Genesys Contact Center Tools, Workforce
Management, and Call Center Sigma currently serving as Manager over Process
Improvement and the Automation Center of Excellence.
She
holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill.
