Carl Wiberg is the Global Continuous Improvement leader at AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals. He and his team works closely with functional groups across the value chain, focusing on end-to-end Supply Chain and Manufacturing, as well as Technology/R&D and other central functions. His team is constantly pushing the envelope on traditional CI methodologies and pursuing break-through ways of transforming the business.  Exploring how to leverage standardized processes, lean thinking and data-driven analysis and decision-making while merging these with a future-oriented perspective, agile approaches and new tools of Industry 4.0.

Carl’s previous experience includes work in the renewable energy sector, with a multitude of assignments spanning operations-, supply chain- and commercial roles in North America and Europe. He is an avid proponent of sustainable practices and is always eager to pursue efforts reducing environmental impacts, whether in his personal life or professionally. He enjoys any kind of outdoor activity where skiing and running holds special places in his heart.
