11:40 AM C9: Make people become windmills in your organization: Four foundational leadership skills and three innovative techniques
When Anne wrote her first book about a coaching model for lean six sigma, she received feedback that these techniques and concepts are not just applicable to lean six sigma implementation and to coaching, but could be more broadly applied to project and people management. Starting from that point, Anne united the learnings she got from her Master Black Belt and PMP certifications and her accreditation to administer the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Instrument), and wrote her second book about bringing process, project and people together to manage resistance. In this workshops session, she will share the key skills and techniques required to drive change and innovation with abundance of examples through her own experience.
- The windmill analogy: Creating energy from resistance rather than opposing against it
- Gaining insights and practicing the five foundational leadership skills: 1) Positive thinking 2)Ability to ask questions 3) Focus on the outcome 4) Problem solving 5) Leading by example
- Learning and exercising the three innovative techniques: 1) a platform for peer to peer recognition 2) the power of reverse evaluation 3) collaborative problem solving
- Examples sharing: What have I learned when practicing these skills and techniques in Société Générale
