With over 25 years of experience in operational excellence and quality improvement, Iván Céspedes has dedicated his career to transforming businesses in Costa Rica and beyond. He has collaborated with both regional and global firms, honing strategies that elevate business performance. Iván’s journey includes pivotal roles in major companies, where he designed and implemented corporate knowledge management and enterprise excellence programs. His efforts were recognized with two CorpU Learning Excellence Awards in 2013 and 2014, as well as the “Best Start-Up Business Process Excellence Program” during OpEx Week 2016. Currently, Iván serves as a Continuous Improvement Expert at Roche, where he continues to drive impactful change. Balancing his professional life, he finds joy in his most important role: being a devoted father to Daniela and Alejandro. Iván holds a master's degree in engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, is a certified Black Belt, and a Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence by ASQ, along with a Change Practitioner certification from Prosci.
