Kara Elliott established a Process Excellence (PEX) team for worldwide product operations at Herbalife, a global health and wellness company in 95 countries. With her team, she implements strategic and continuous improvements within the product development lifecycle to deliver quality products with speed and efficiency. Since the PEX team originated in 2020, over $1M in annual cost avoidance has been delivered through automation and process optimization in addition to qualitative business value gains. She has over two decades of experience in operations, program/project management and business process management. She recently achieved her Project Management Professional and Six Sigma Black Belt Professional certifications and enjoys developing her team to improve how they create and deliver value to customers and stakeholders. Her team recently piloted a PEX Department Process Owner workshop that will be implemented globally across departments to further champion a culture of continuous improvement.
