Brian Safron is Worldwide Program Director for Offering Management at IBM, where he is responsible for product management of IBM’s Digital Process Automation suite of offerings. Prior to this position he was responsible for IBM’s SaaS offerings for cloud-based business modeling and operations. Previously Brian led product marketing for IBM Operational Decision Management and the IBM Smarter Process portfolio. Brian was deeply involved in the original Service Oriented Architecture initiative and was on the team that developed IBM’s strategy and point-of-view for SOA. Throughout his career, Brian has also focused on the Internet of Things, Complex Systems Development, Enterprise Architecture and mainframe software.
