Jamie has over 20 years IT experience, ranging from development through project management to software consultancy and solution strategy. He is currently the Head of Commerce for Ascendant Europe an IBM Premier business partner.
Jamie has been an eCommerce specialist for over 11 years and has work with many of IBM's largest European eCommerce clients, providing architectural, consultancy, best practice and solution strategy across industry.
Prior to joining Ascendant, he was one of IBM UK Software Groups top eCommerce Solution Specialist and a trusted advisor to many WebSphere Commerce customers.
In recent years Jamie has focus on more complex eCommerce solutions across diverse industries and larger integrated solutions using Portals, Process engines, etc. He has worked closely on B2B and B2C solutions within Telco, Media and entertainment, Wholesale, Distribution, Retail and Public sector.
Jamie has authored an IBM Redbook on business to business patterns and has presented at various Software Symposiums, WebSphere Commerce Summits and the eCommerce Expo 2011 at Olympia.
