About New Orleans

New Orleans is world-renowned for its cultural history, distinct music, cuisine and vivid celebrations like Mardi Gras. The historic heart of the city is the French Quarter, known for its amazing architecture and vibrant nightlife along Bourbon Street. Take inspiration from the activities below and mix business with pleasure when you visit OPEX FS!

The French Quarter

The French Quarter is the oldest section of the City of New Orleans. Founded in 1718 by Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville. Today, the district is commonly known as the French Quarter, or simply "the Quarter." Join a walking tour of the city or explore the French Quarter in your own time and admire the architecture, culture and cuisine.

The Bayou

From dark swamps to sun-kissed marshes playing host to a range of wildlife including herons and egrets, the Mississippi River Delta is a watery but photogenic wonderland. Climb aboard an airboat and explore the Bayou but watch out for those alligators and snakes!

Music and Nightlife

After a day of exploring New Orleans you can explore the night by visiting the world famous Bourbon Street which is known for it’s bars and clubs. Sit back with a signature cocktail and enjoy the sounds of the iconic Rhythm & Blues, Jazz and Blues that flows through the heart of New Orleans.
