Satya S. Chakravorty

Satya S. Chakravorty has extensive experience in developing, training, and implementing process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints) programs in large organizations such as US Marine Corps Air Station, Shaw Industries, Lockheed Martin, Heinz, Beech-Nut, 3M Corporation, AT&T, Harlequin, Beechnut, and Los Angeles Times. Many of his implementation insights can be found in the MIT Sloan Management Review/the Wall Street Journal; Quality Management Journal, Industrial Engineer, European Journal of Industrial Engineering; European Journal of Operational Research; Operations Management Research; and Production and Inventory Management Journal.  His PhD in Production and Operations Management is from the University of Georgia. He is Certified Fellow of Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM), certified academic associate (JONAH) in Theory of Constraints; and has Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma Black Belt experience.  He also teaches at the Michael J.
