Jose Luis Chavez Vasquez is the Director for Strategic Planning and Human Resources at ITR (ITP Group/SENER and Rolls Royce)—Mexico Division. He is an accomplished HR Executive with 16 years of wide-ranging experience helping global organizations such as GE, Wyeth and Kraft to perform sustainable business, creating value through the allocation of the right people with the right competencies into the right role.

Chavez has been recognized with the Mexico National Best Practice & Innovation Award in 2007 and the HR Best Practice Award in 2006. His work appear in a number of publications, focusing on his expertise in HR strategy and Strategic Planning with articles such as: “Beyond Strategic Partnership, the New Role of Human Resources and Designing a High Performance Culture in Change and Uncertain times (Knowledge & Direction Magazine)”; and “Maximizing HR Value” (Human Capital Magazine).

He is a Six Sigma Black Belt, a TOC and Lean Expert, a Balanced Scorecard Leader and a DDI Certified Facilitator and Master Trainer. Chavez is also a distinguished member of APICS (The Association for Operations Management). Chavez holds a Bachelor in business administration from Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) and has post-graduate studies at the University of Michigan, Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) and Cornell University.

Veronica Lobo is the Talent Planning and Organizational Development Manager at ITR (ITP Group/SENER and Rolls Royce). She is a talented HR Executive with eight years of experience in several HR processes, such as Compensation, Talent Planning, Talent Retention, Organizational Development, Recruitment and Corporate Trainings. She has worked with Jose Chavez for six years at ITR where they have both been recognized with the Mexico National HR Innovation Award in 2007 and the Mexico HR Best Practice Award in 2006.

Lobo holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Universidad Contemporanea (UCO) at Querétaro. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, a Lean and TOC practitioner, and she has been trained in Talent and Retention Management  at University of Michigan and in Target Selection at DID.
