James Thompson

James Thompson is a certified Black Belt supporting the global Process Excellence departments at Covance. Over his career as a Black Belt, Thompson has worked with several large pharmaceutical companies and vendors on projects that provided joint benefits to both organizations. He has procured substantial financial benefits to lines such as analytical chemistry, non-clinical safety assessment, financial services and facilities.

Before becoming a Black Belt, Thompson was a Global Business Relationship Manager for Information Technology and responsible for Global Chemistry Automation. This position initiated and acquired funding for IT initiatives to transform the business such as LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and sample barcode tracking.
