Tom Kling

Tom Kling is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified in MAIC and Design for Six Sigma. He is responsible for mentoring Black Belts and Master Black Belts globally, and for acquiring and implementing Six Sigma methods for Research & Development. Kling is a subject matter expert in advanced problem solving methods and the inventive methodology TRIZ, as well as DFSS.

Kling began his career at Dow in 1975, specializing in product and process development and total quality management. He has held a wide variety of technical positions within Dow, in Research & Development, Pilot Plants, Technical Service & Development and Operations. 

Kling holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of North Dakota.
