Gina Gabriel

Gina Marie Gabriel has worked in the Lean Six Sigma field for the past 10 years. Prior to joining Novant Health in late 2006, her experience was in manufacturing organizations. Her current role at Novant and the Presbyterian Hospital system is as an Operational Improvement Advisor, focusing on process improvement efforts within the Emergency Departments as well as hospital-wide Throughput. Gabriel earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Grove City College, Grove City, PA and an MBS from Kent State University. She also is a Six Sigma Green Belt.

The Emergency Department (ED) at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, N.C., located in one of the fastest growing regions in the country, is often stretched beyond capacity.
