Alan's experience spans various disciplines including manufacturing management, financial services executive and military aviator. He has worked abroad in Europe and Japan. Alan has held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership all focused on quality based management and the improvement of business processes.
Currently, Alan is SVP Head of Process Transformation at CIT. Prior to joining CIT, Alan was Vice President and Chief Quality Offer at American Express. He has also worked for General Electric where he lead the securitization operations for the company and lead the commercial card operations for customer care. Alan also served as Quality Leader and Master Black Belt for various businesses, including private label Credit Cards, M&A and Capital Markets.
Alan completed his undergraduate education from the Citadel with a bachelors in Mathematics and minor in Computer Science and graduate studies from the Armed Forces Staff College of the National Defense University. He is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
