Blended e-Learning program includes online modules customized for the health care workforce

Atlanta, Georgia (September 13, 2010) – The Quality Group (TQG) has announced the release of The Health Care Series: process improvement (Lean Six Sigma) training for the health care professional. The newly developed blended e-Learning series focuses on condensed class times and highly customized online training modules to meet the needs of the health care workforce.

"With TQG’s new Health Care Series, organizations will be better able to motivate and prepare their workforces to help eliminate waste, reduce variability, and increase the productivity of their health care delivery systems," says Jennifer Ralston, CEO and President of HKPO Lean Sigma Experts and former deployment leader for American Red Cross Biomedical Services. "Organizations that embrace the new model will experience streamlined training time, condensed classroom time, faster and more meaningful results, and a more wide-ranging impact that can be tied to health care organizations’ bottom-line."

To customize the training for the health care worker, TQG assembled a diverse team of industry experts, including Ralston; Kathy Price, current Director of Clinical Effectiveness at Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System; and Liz Keim and Bob King, long-time industry leaders from GOAL/QPC.

The Health Care Series is available to purchase now and can be licensed through TQG or its various academic and distribution partners. Modular pricing, per-user and unlimited-use subscription models are available.
