27th January 2015, London: In recent times, companies within manufacturing , financial services, energy and pharmaceuticals have found it challenging to address stakeholder needs and expectations due to unprecedented operational, regulatory and economic pressures following the financial crisis. Companies are looking to transform their business to become as lean as possible to reduce costs and remain competitive.

In light of this process excellence has moved up the food chain. Many successful European companies including AIG, Rolls-Royce, Shell and Barclaycard Head’s of process/operational excellence have become c-suit executives and are driving corporate strategy and profits. Yet many organisations still don't clearly understand how to link their strategy to their operational processes.

The 16th Annual Process Excellence Week Europe is the first to dedicate a whole day stream to the challenges associated with incorporating process excellence within the culture, leadership and behaviour. Full details can be found here: http://bit.ly/pexweekeuropeagenda
